Well it’s really upon us right now isn’t it?  Seems like every time I tune into any kind of news I’m hearing about how horrible the flu season is this year.  That healthy people are dying because of the flu.  That’s hard core.

I’ve had friends who’ve had one form or another of the flu for up to a month.  It’s crazy.  I hesitate to even type this but so far I’ve been lucky and haven’t had it find me……yet.

    I wanted to read your article, because of the flu being so bad right now. You’ve cover all the aspects of this condition that is getting so many people down this year. Like you stated in the article the sooner you get checked the better. Early detection in most cases is the key. thanks for this article.

      You are so right, the flu is crazy bad now!  I think we are on the downside of it though so hopefully things will taper off.  Since health is so important to the overall quality of our lives early detection is the key, thanks for the input!

    Hi Mat,

    I agree with you on this article, the best way to prevent the flu is by building up your immune system with natural food. We should be doing this all year round, not just for the winter months.

    Once we feel flu systems coming on then it is going to run its course at that stage, so in order to prevent it we should be getting nutrition into our bodies by way of lots of fruits and vegetables, nuts, seeds and cooperating this with some daily exercise should help keep us in good shape.

    Of course there is still no guarantee you wont get the flu, but you will have a better chance of avoiding it and the fitter you are the easier it will be to deal with it.

      Thanks for stopping by.  You are absolutely correct – no matter how many precautions we take we can still get the flu but we do indeed narrow our chances.  It’s like health in general.  We may do everything right yet still break a leg.  BUT, when we do break that leg, many times if we are in shape we heal up faster.
